Children's Storytime
(First Sunday of each month, 10:30 AM)
Join us for our monthly Storytime on the first Sunday of each month from 10:30–11:30 AM! Each session highlights a different virtue—such as kindness, courage, or gratitude—through thoughtfully chosen stories that spark imagination and conversation. We’ll also welcome special guest readers throughout the year to share their favorite books and perspectives.
Every Storytime includes a take-home craft or activity that reinforces the theme, so the learning (and fun!) continues at home. No reservation is required. Caregivers must remain with children. We can’t wait to see you there!
Shelf Talk at Athina
(Second Thursday of each month, 6:00 p.m.)
Shelf Talk at Athina is a relaxed, social gathering for readers who love discovering and sharing books. Bring whatever you’re currently reading and enjoy casual conversation with fellow book lovers—no assigned reading required. Replacing our Silent Book Group, Shelf Talk at Athina meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. Light refreshments are provided.
Second Chapter Studio
(Last Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM)
Second Chapter Studio is a monthly open crafting studio dedicated to giving discarded books a new life through creativity. Bring your imagination and explore book-inspired art, paper crafts, collage, folding, and other upcycled projects in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Whether you’re an experienced maker or just curious to try something new, all are welcome. Supplies are provided.
