Children's Storytime
(First Sunday of each month, 10:30 AM)
Join us for our monthly Storytime on the first Sunday of each month from 10:30–11:30 AM! Each session highlights a different virtue—such as kindness, courage, or gratitude—through thoughtfully chosen stories that spark imagination and conversation. We’ll also welcome special guest readers throughout the year to share their favorite books and perspectives.
Every Storytime includes a take-home craft or activity that reinforces the theme, so the learning (and fun!) continues at home. No reservation is required. Caregivers must remain with children. We can’t wait to see you there!
Silent Book Group
(Second Thursday of each month, 6:00 p.m.)
Join our monthly Silent Book Group for a unique take on the classic book club! Bring your favorite book and enjoy 45 minutes of uninterrupted silent reading, followed by a relaxed social hour with fellow readers. Share your current read if you wish, and connect with a community of book lovers. Whether you're a seasoned reader or looking to rekindle your love for books, this group is perfect for you!
Spring Break Crafts
(School Vacation Week, 4/22-26)
Looking for something creative to do during Spring Break? Join us at Athina Books from April 22–26 for a week of hands-on crafting fun! We’ll have a variety of materials set out in both our seating area and children’s section, inviting makers of all ages to get inspired and create. Not sure where to start? We’ll also have sample crafts on display to spark ideas. Drop in, get creative, and make something uniquely your own!
