Our Book Acquisition Process
Do you have books to donate or sell?
We receive many inquiries from people interested in selling or donating books. In most cases, we do not purchase books for cash, except for select highly collectible titles we are actively seeking. Typically, sellers receive store credit equal to 25% of our in-store price for the book; that in-store price is often about half of the original cover price, though it may vary slightly based on current market value. Mass-market paperbacks are currently purchased at a flat rate of 25¢ per book, while trade paperbacks are priced in the same manner as hardcovers.
Book donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated. Please note that we do not accept textbooks or books in poor condition, including those that are musty, mildewed, or falling apart.
